3) Share & Build an Audience
Share your smart URL on social media, bios, descriptions, or paid marketing channels to run your pre-save campaign and build an audience of pre-savers. You'll be able to see how many pre-saves you get on the ListenTo Dashboard.
4) Release!
Once you have released, you can enter the streaming URL on our dashboard and all of the pre-savers will:
- Automatically save your release to each of the opted-in listeners streaming libraries on Spotify, Apple Music and Deezer, increasing day-one engagement and stream numbers.
- Add to Playlist: Fans can optionally choose to add your release to one of their own playlists when it drops - getting your music into listener-curated playlists from day one!
- Auto-Follow: On Spotify and Deezer, we support auto-following the artist(s) profiles, so listeners are notified of your future releases automatically!
After release, your pre-save link becomes a regular Smart URL and sends future visitors directly to the streaming platform. You can also export your pre-savers details in .csv format for future marketing.

What is a pre-save link?
A pre-save link lets fans save your upcoming release to their Spotify, Apple Music or Deezer library before it comes out. On release day the track or album is automatically added to their library, boosting your day-one streams and helping with algorithmic playlisting. Learn more about pre-save links.
How do pre-saves work on Spotify?
When a fan clicks your pre-save link and authorises with Spotify, ListenTo stores that intent. On release day we use the Spotify API to save the album or track directly into their library. The listener does not need to do anything else.
Is there a difference between pre-save and pre-add?
Pre-save is the term used by Spotify and Deezer. Apple Music calls the same feature pre-add. The result is identical: the release is saved to the listener's library automatically on release day. ListenTo supports both in a single link.
Are pre-save links free on ListenTo?
Yes. You can create pre-save links on ListenTo's free plan at no cost. Paid plans unlock additional features such as removing ads, custom domains and detailed analytics, but the core pre-save functionality is free.
What happens to my pre-save link after release?
After you release and enter the streaming URL on your dashboard, all pre-savers receive the track in their library. Your pre-save link then automatically converts into a regular smart link, sending any new visitors directly to the release on their preferred platform.
Can fans add my release to their playlists via pre-save?
Yes. ListenTo's Add to Playlist feature lets fans choose one of their own playlists during the pre-save flow. When the release drops, the track is added to that playlist automatically, getting your music into listener-curated playlists from day one.
Can I change plans at any time?
Absolutely. You can modify, cancel, upgrade or downgrade your plan at any time at no additional cost. Your subscription is paid in advance monthly, so any upgrades to your plan will be charged pro-rata. If you have any questions, feel free to contact us.
Are there long term contracts?
ListenTo is a monthly subscription service. You can modify or cancel your plan at any time without additional charge, no questions asked. We want you to stay with ListenTo because you find our service useful, not because you're locked in. Upon commencement of a ListenTo subscription plan, you will be charged the specified amount to your payment source, then you will be automatically billed each month as an ongoing subscription.
What happens if I cancel my plan?
If you cancel your plan, you will continue to be able to use ListenTo for the remainder of the period you have paid for. At the end of this period, your subscription features will be disabled and you will be set back to the free plan. Your regular smart links will always be available and unaffected, other than ads beginning to show on them again.
